Last year a consultation took place that introduced plans to improve transport connections along three of the region’s busiest roads to the north, south and west of Greater Manchester called Introducing Cross City Bus Travel.

Thousands of people responded to this consultation with comments about what they thought of cross city travel and feedback on the plans to improve travel along the A664, A580, Oxford Road and within the city centre.

Since then, local councils (working in partnership with Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive) have been carefully considering the views they received and updating the plans.

Manchester City Council would now like to hear views from local residents, businesses and the travelling public about the specific proposals that are currently being developed for Rochdale Road (A664).

The consultations about the proposals for Upper Brook Street, Sackville Street and Portland Street have now closed. Feedback about what you said will be available shortly. If you have any questions, please email comments@manchester-ccbp.com.
